What is an IEC?
The Importer-Exporter Code (IEC) is a key business identification number that is mandatory for Exports or Imports in India. No person can make any import or export without an IEC granted by the DGFT.
What is an AD Code?
An Authorized Dealer (AD) Code is a 14-digit numerical code provided by a bank where your business has a current account. You must register this AD Code at the customs port from where you intend to export.
